The 2012 Cadillac SRX seems at least in one respect to be going against the grain. As a number of luxury vehicles have had engines downsized—and even the BMW 5-Series is going four-cylinder, for instance—Cadillac has instead swapped a larger engine, with slightly lower gas mileage, into its SRX crossover.
It’s easy to rush to conclusions, but the truth is that the current SRX fits in much more clearly with the luxury-crossover mainstream. And, having just driven the new SRX 3.6, it makes a lot more sense than either of the previous powertrains.  Overall, the SRX is neither a particularly rewarding vehicle to drive, nor as a particularly space-efficient or fuel-efficient one, but its strength is as a vehicle with a lot of style and feel-good luxury comforts, and a distinct cabin ambience that’s more distinguished than other luxury crossovers in this price range.
And besides, the SRX really needed some more muscle. In our review of the 2011 SRX, we called it merely adequate with the 3.0-liter, and sluggish with the added weight of all-wheel drive. The former engine made a respectable 265 horsepower, but it seldom felt that, as its torque was higher up the rev band than you’d like in this kind of vehicle. In place, the 308-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 hits its 265 pound-foot torque plateau at just 2,400 rpm, so what you get is an engine that, at least in theory should be more relaxed.

2012 Volvo C70 Inscription Edition looks a bit moody Volvo at the LA Auto Show. The C70 Inscription is a new trim limited to only 2,000 units worldwide. The Inscription will be available in the U.S. with Volvo's T5 five-cylinder turbo delivering 230 horsepower. Other markets will feature a pair of diesel offerings in 150-hp and 177-hp flavors.

GM was ready to completely pull the plug on Saab, but then Dutch supercar maker Spyker made an 11th-hour save. Spyker is now promising a bright future that involves an entirely new car lineup bolstered by an all-new Saab 9-3.
Unfortunately, that all-new car is still at least a year away, and the 2011 Saab 9-3 you can buy today is simply the eighth year for a car that was never that impressive to begin with. Among entry-level luxury cars, the 9-3 is the equivalent of an aging Epcot ride in a segment filled with really cool berg-och-dalbanas.
The 2011 Saab 9-3 has a 210-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder as its sole engine offering; most of its competitors offer more vigorous performance and/or an engine upgrade of some sort. Its interior is a significant step below its competitors, and it lacks many of the electronic features that have become de rigueur the past few years. There is no iPod interface, for instance, and Bluetooth is bundled with optional OnStar telematics. Edo Competition has announced tuning program for Porsche Panamera S. The tuned version is called Hellboy and that suits to it – perfectly.
The mighty 4.8 liter V8 engine is boosted to 465PS(342 kW), instead of factory’s 400PS (294kW) and 550Nm (406 lb-ft). 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and the top speed is 305 km/h (190 mph).
The results are thanks to new pressure-monitoring and self-adjusting exhaust system with butterfly valves, high-performance catalytic converters, high-flow mufflers and new tail pipes. There are also an ECU recalibration tuned on the dyno and a set of high-flow air filters.
The body kit consists of a a new carbon fiber front skirt with integrated daytime running lights, new carbon fiber front lip, elegant side skirts, a new carbon fiber rear skirt along with the diffuser, new side mirrors and fender vents. Finally, Edo added a ducktail spoiler.
The vehicle stands on 9.5J x 21” rims at the front and 11J x 21” at the rear fitted with 265/35 ZR 21 and 305/30 ZR 21, respectively.
For better stance and improved handling – an electronic lowering module that can bring the body up to 30 mm closer to the ground can be fitted on request.

The 2012 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: MW3 Special Edition is set to land on dealer lots on November 8 in conjunction with the launch of the latest chapter in the Modern Warfare video game saga.
